What kind of place is it? It is not easy to describe this versatile and vibrating but at the same time calmness-radiating corner of the world, especially not with some simple worlds. This is the place where people and nature have been living in harmony for centuries. In this piece of land where Zemplén mountains meet the floodplains of Bodrogköz, there are hundreds of different ways, for either tourists or inhabitants of the area to get closer to nature, to have a deeper insight into its countless wonders. The mineral and rock collector, the ornithologist being eager to see more about the life of his beloved birds, the forest-lovers who follows the trails of wild animals, the angler sitting quietly on the riverbanks will just as much fulfil their expectations as the tourists wandering around either riding their bikes, strolling on foot or paddling a canoe.
