Our family’s cellars are located in Sárazsadány, a small village in the Tokaj-Hegyalja region, where the winding Bodrog river’s silvery stretch of water is cast upon the foot of the Rudnok hill, . The Porgány Family Winery was established in 2004, enriching the vineyards and wineries of Tokaj-Hegyalja, which are constructed and improve in appearance like a mosaic.Our task is the production and processing of grapes, the production of wine, the classic oxidative fermentation of wines in wooden barrels, production and fermentation of Tokay wine specialities, szamorodni and aszú wines in accordance with the tradition, but recently also the production, maturing, and bottling of reductive quality wines, ending with all the things necessary to market the product.Tokay. Our cellar became active in winery in 2008. Thanks to the 2008 vintage, in which the grapes turned into excellent aszú, and had a very good quality, we could procude a large amount of 5- and 6-butt Tokay aszú and fordítás wines by processing 100 quintals of aszú in 2008. We currently have Tokay wine specialities, 5- and 6-butt aszú, and 5-butt muscated aszú wines produced from the aszú harvest of three vintages. These wine specialities are matured in oak barrels, in the traditional way.
